NON LEAGUE PAPER WROTE
Millers Fall To Solid Colemen

Ben Usher-Shipway struck in the second half as Coleshill won at league leaders Carlton. The Colemen deserved their victory which was based on a solid defensive display and some sharp attacking, with Daniel Gyasi looking particularly impressive. Carlton remain top despite the defeat and having won seven of their last eight games they will look to respond when they travel to Micklover next week. Ash Chambers and Niall Davie went close for Carlton in the first half but Coleshill always looked dangerous and home keeper Felix Annan made a fine save to deny Usher-Shipway. Gyasi almost scored when a clever lofted shot just cleared the bar with Annan beaten before Harry Sweeney and Alex McSkeane both had chances for the visitors. Usher-Shipway found the winner after 65 minutes when he converted from close range after a fine run and cross by Gyasi. Nat Watson almost levelled for the Millers late on and the home team were denied what looked a clear penalty in added time when Chambers shot was diverted from goal by a Coleshill defender's arm. The visitors held on to condemn Carlton to only their third defeat of the season. Carlton joint manager Mark Harvey conceded that Coleshill had come with a gameplan and had no complaints about the result.
Star Man: Daniel Gyasi. (Coleshill)
