Late Drama Seals Vital Win for The Colemen Against Bedworth Town

Coleshill Town sponsored by Electric Centre Limited, secured a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Bedworth Town at Pack Meadow, continuing their upward momentum with a performance full of grit, persistence, and late-game quality.

The match echoed the intensity of the Belper clash, with Coleshill pressing forward from the outset but struggling to convert chances into goals. Bedworth, despite sitting bottom of the table, showed no signs of surrender and pushed for an opener, but Cam stood tall between the sticks, calmly dealing with everything thrown his way.

The game was a true end-to-end affair—scrappy at times, with long spells of aerial duels and midfield battles. The second half saw Coleshill carve out clearer opportunities, none more memorable than when club stalwart Gio Dainty entered the fray. A slick passing move culminated in Dainty’s volleyed effort toward the top corner, only for the Bedworth keeper to claw it out from under the bar.
As the clock ticked down, Bedworth slowed the tempo, seemingly settling for a draw. They thought they’d snatched a late goal in the 44th minute, but the forward was flagged offside after a flick-on from a long throw. Then came Coleshill’s moment. In the 46th minute, a flowing move found Dan Brookes (sponsored by Keith and Ian Booth) in space on the edge of the box, and he delivered a stunning strike past the keeper to seal all three points.
