COLESHILL TOWN MARCH ON IN THE EMIRATES FA CUP WITH CONVINCING WIN OVER PERSHORE FC
Coleshill Town produced a commanding performance away at Pershore to sweep aside Pershore FC and book their place in the Emirates FA Cup First Round Qualifying. Goals from Dan Brookes, Harry Sweeney, and Daniel Gyasi sealed a 3–0 victory in front of jubilant away supporters, as The Colemen continued their promising start to the season.

First-Half Control
The match began with Coleshill asserting their authority early on, controlling possession and probing the Pershore backline. Their persistence paid off midway through the first half when Dan Brookes found space inside the box and calmly slotted home the opener.

Second-Half Surge
The second half saw Coleshill raise their intensity, and it didn’t take long for the scoreboard to reflect their dominance. In the 54th minute, Harry Sweeney doubled the lead with a well-taken finish after a slick passing move carved open the Pershore defence.

Just three minutes later, the moment of the match arrived. Daniel Gyasi, who had been lively throughout, unleashed a stunning strike from outside the box that flew into the top corner—an emphatic goal that capped off a superb team display and sent the Coleman supporters into celebration mode.

A Day to Remember
With the result secured, Coleshill managed the remainder of the game professionally, keeping a clean sheet and giving their supporters plenty to cheer about. The win not only sees The Colemen advance to the First Round Qualifying, but also builds momentum and belief as they continue their FA Cup journey.

Manager and players alike will take pride in a performance that combined attacking flair, defensive solidity, and a touch of magic—everything you want in a cup tie.

Next up: Coleshill Town await the draw for the First Round Qualifying, where tougher tests lie ahead—but on this form, few will relish facing The Colemen.

MATCH REPORT From The Other Side

Step 4 Coleshill progressed to the First Qualifying Round after beating Pershore 3-0.

Having beaten Step 4 side Darlaston in the last round, Pershore’s reward was another home tie against higher-level opposition, this time welcoming Coleshill Town to the Community Stadium.

The visitors started brightly, controlling possession and forcing a series of set pieces, though without truly troubling the Pershore defence in the opening stages. Pershore looked to counter when opportunities arose, but their chances in the first half were limited to long-range efforts and a couple of blocked shots inside the box.

As half-time approached, Coleshill found the breakthrough when Dan Brookes reacted quickest to stab home from close range.

The second half began in difficult fashion for the hosts, as Coleshill struck twice in quick succession — first capitalising on a defensive lapse, before Dan Gyasi unleashed an unstoppable long-range strike less than a minute later to make it three.

Pershore responded by changing shape and personnel, which sparked a stronger attacking spell. Substitute Yuri Quintas went closest when his strike crashed against the crossbar with the keeper beaten, while the Coleshill goalkeeper also produced a smart save. However, the visitors managed the remainder of the game well and saw out a controlled victory to progress.
