HIGHGATE QUICK OFF THE MARK
Highgate scored the fastest goal of the season in the League when Paul Rossi scored after only six seconds to give his side their first league win of 1990. Highgate took the lead straight from the kick off when Rossi saw his 20 yard strike fly past Darrell Houghton. Coleshill nearly equalised after 8 minutes when Steve Williams headed a Brad Lee cross narrowly wide from 10 yards. Coleshill dominated the second half and almost equalised after 63 minutes when Paul Jones picked up a loose ball on the edge of the area before firing narrowly wide. In injury time Coleshill debutant Chris Lawley was sent off after kicking the ball at the referee.
