Team: Bob Dyer, Richard Holder. Confirmed. From: Collins GK, D.Williamson, Hemmings, Dave Moore, Ward, John Gardner, Richardson, Steve Polack, Hanson, McGuire, Barrows, Colin Cooke.

A 62nd Mickey Collins goal proved to be the deciding factor between these two sides - but a draw would have been a fairer result. Bob Dyer fluffed two early chances for the home side and indeed the same player was unlucky to see his 74th minute shot hit the Boro post after he had resisted two tackles. Shortly after this Richard Holder inexplicably pulled his effort wide with only the Walsall keeper to beat.
SPORTS ARGUS WROTE
More new signings at Coleshill are midfield man Malcolm Teeling from Knowle, ex Villa forward Lee Jenkins from Ledbury Town and defender Anthony Foote from Banbury United. On the other side of the coin Manager Colin Holder has released Rusha Ford who was fined a fortnight's wages for failing to turn up for a match against West Midlands Police last month.
